IMHO there is only *one* private health insurance for you in Germany.
Its the Hallesche Nationale K., which was called the Rolls Royce
between the health insurances: they pay all without any discussion, but
they naturally are *expensive*. |
| Well, a law is a law. Right? Well, maybe. It seems that the federal agencies
who have to write rules about such things have taken 5 full years to come
out with their rules. The IRS, the Pension and Welfare Benefits
Administration and the Health Care Finance Administration, bureaucracies who
owe nothing to the voters, have published their rules. It appears that they
have completely reversed the intent of the actual law. |

while riding his motorcycle. The automobile driver has only a minimum of
insurance and only covers injuries up to $20,000. With health care costing
what it does, this wasnt enough. Because this guy was riding a motorcycle,
his own health insurance wouldnt cover the cost and he went badly in hock. |
| ATTENTION, all private insurances have VERY low prices for young people
(p.e. 300,-- DM / 150,-- EUR /month at an age of 30 years) to catch the
people for their offer. Germans call this a Bauernfaengerei.
BUT at an age of - maybe - 70 years you pay the real costs of your
health care, maybe much(!) more than 1.000,-- DM / 500,-- EUR. |
