| It seems there were already insurance companies writing policies with
exclusions like those described above, so there are already horror stories
about the effect of such exclusions. Like the guy who gets hit by a car
while riding his motorcycle. The automobile driver has only a minimum of
insurance and only covers injuries up to $20,000. With health care costing
what it does, this wasnt enough. Because this guy was riding a motorcycle,
his own health insurance wouldnt cover the cost and he went badly in hock. |

I was referred to the Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations (TANO),
but it doesnt look like health insurance is on the list of the types it
does offer (). You might still want to
contact the broker listed at the bottom of the TANO page to see if it is
available nevertheless (especially for non-members of TANO). |
| If you have money enough and are used to *top quality* at top prices,
IMHO there is only *one* private health insurance for you in Germany.
Its the Hallesche Nationale K., which was called the Rolls Royce
between the health insurances: they pay all without any discussion, but
they naturally are *expensive*. |
