1765. E-MAIL: Kathleen Mayers, kathleen.mayers@occ.treas.gov. The Office
of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) intends to extend their current
purchase order with Cigna Insurance Group for one additional year, CY
2001. Cigna Insurance Group currently provides dental and vision
insurance coverage and the associated insurance benefit administration
for OCC_s Employee Benefit program. The extension of this purchase order
will represent a renewal of OCC_s current group policy number 2253081,
and will not constitute a new policy. The OCC intends to solicit and
negotiate with only one source under the aut. |
| It seems that the major point of confusion -- where everyone,
including professionals, seems to have a slightly different version of
the facts -- is about postoperative vision changes and reading
glasses. Ive had reliable sources insist that I will need reading
glasses in my forties, period, and other reliable sources insist that
Ill only need reading glasses if I would have needed them anyway,
that the need for reading glasses is independent of the surgery. If
anyone can comment further on that last point on- or off-list Id be
obliged. |
| My employer doesnt match our 403(b) contributions, but they pay both the
employer and employee portions of Oregon PERS (though many employers debit the
employees pay for the employee portion of Oregon PERS). We also have good
medical insurance, vision insurance, ok dental insurance, disability insurance,
term life for the lesser of annual salary or $50K. Even though my employer
doesnt match 403(b) contributions, I think them paying for the employee
portion of Oregon PERS more than makes up for it. |
| We offer an exciting and flexible work environment, competitive
salary, generous stock options, 401k, 100% medical and dental
insurance for the whole family and vision insurance as well as
unlimited career growth opportunities. |
